There are good reasons to choose renting over ownership
Do people tell you you're crazy to be renting? That you're just throwing your money away? That owning a home or condo is the only way to go?
Maybe not so much! If you talk to your friends who are homeowners, you will probably hear about the "money pit" that homeownership can be, how they are constantly having to fix the plumbing or the roof, how the yard upkeep takes all of their time. It's also harder to move for a new job, or to spend weekends skiing on the lake, because something has to be fixed or painted or trimmed.
